Our vision is to raise the standard of the hair and beauty industry by enabling salons to become more ethical and sustainable environments for not only the salon, but for the stylists and salon guests too. By providing a circular economy for salons, Green Salon Collective are the solution. Not only do we help salons to recycle, we recycle our profits too! Any money made from selling recycled materials like metal is donated to charities that have the same values as us.

GIVING BACK TO CHARITY
In 2021, £7230 was raised for charity through the sale of commodities like recycled metal.
In 2021, we donated 183 haircuts to Haircuts 4 Homeless, a charity which helps homeless people to build their self-esteem, and have someone to talk to and engage with.
In 2021, we donated 2041 meals to Food Cycle, a charity which provides nutritious, vegetarian meals made from surplus foods to those who need it in the community.
WORKING WITH LOCAL RECYCLERS
To ensure that each hairdressing waste steam is converted into something useful, we work with local businesses and organisations.
NOTHING TO LANDFILL
In 2021, over 40 tons of salon waste was diverted from landfill.
By providing alternative options for 8 different waste streams, we prevent all types of salon waste from heading to landfill.
RECYCLE, COMPOST & RECOVER
We have over 10 ways to recycle hair! We also recycle metal, plastic, paper & cardboard as well as providing composting services for food and hair salon towels.
In 2021, we planted over 1100 trees and co-funded rewilding projects with Mossy Earth, including building eagle nesting platforms in Scotland and cave cleanups in Croatia
