We hope you’ll understand that, like many of the salons we work with, we’re making a necessary adjustment to our pricing after more than five years.

Since launching GSC in February 2020, we’ve never raised our prices, in fact, we’ve actually lowered them over time. Over two years ago, we introduced a 20% loyalty discount to reward our dedicated clients. For many salons, this has not only reduced the cost of our boxes but also increased profitability, especially for those charging a Green Fee.

As with many products and services across the industry, costs are rising, and ours are too. However, salons that opt to charge a small, optional £1 Green Fee are seeing significant returns. On average, these GSC salons are generating over £200 in additional revenue per box.

Here’s how:
Our latest data shows that the average salon fills a full-sized return box with hair and metals from 400 clients. At £1 per client, that equates to £400 in additional income. Even with a new revised loyalty-priced box of £150 (ex p&p), that still leaves a gross margin of £250, more than double the cost of the box.
