Yes! Salons can recycle used hairdressing foils with our specialist salon recycling service. With Green Salon Collective, you can recycle salon foils and colour tubes (no washing required), by placing used foils straight into the separation bags from your starter kit and sending them back in your returns box. This is designed for real salon waste that councils often won’t accept.
Can salons recycle cut hair?
Yes! Salon hair recycling in the UK is possible when hair is collected and processed through 10+ dedicated recycling/reuse routes. Green Salon Collective provides a simple system for salons to separate hair waste and return it in a specialist returns box, helping divert hair from landfill and incineration.
Can salons recycle empty colour tubes?
Yes! All salon metals including empty aluminium colour tubes can be recycled through Green Salon Collective.
