Rather than letting cut hair end up in landfills, it can be used for various sustainable purposes. For instance, hair can be collected and used to create booms that absorb oil spills in water, providing an eco-friendly solution to environmental disasters.
Additionally, hair can be composted and used in British agriculture, and can be used on a smaller scare in houseplants to give them a nitrogen boost.
